When there is enough snow, you can toboggan directly behind our campsite. The toboggans (sledges) are provided free of charge.
There are yet more toboggan runs in the region, i.e in Guggenberg, Hermagor, or Rattendorf. These are also lit at night. A pleasant walk beforehand gets the tobogganer primed for an exciting run ahead.
After your exhilarating toboggan run, you can retire to cosy taverns in order to warm yourself up again.
Normally once a week you can enjoy a guided sledding tour with the boss.
A network of some 300km of runs, 18 of which are in safe snow between 1000/1500m above sea level.
When there is a lot of snow, the runs begin just outside our campsite Schluga Camping Hermagor.
In Nassfeld there are also runs that take across Austria into Italy, the Lesach Valley (6kms long), in Dellach/Kirchbach (5kms long) and on the Weissensee lake (3kms long).
Many of the runs bear the Carinthian Cross Country Ski Run Seal of Approval.
The runs by Tröplach (18kms in length and 8kms away) are easily reached using the courtesy ski bus, the stop being just outside our campsite.
