The 5.5 hectare site is situated some 1.5km east of Hermagor.
The site comprises of some 250 pitches, mobile homes de luxe****, caravans for rent and barrel lodges.
The latter are built in pine. They can sleep 2 adults and a child. They comprise a comfortable sleeping area with storage underneath, with a cosy seating area to the front with TV.
For those needing more space there are 2 charming apartments located above the Reception.
They are ideal for families, who can make full use of all the site facilities – such as our Wellness Oasis, Open air swimming pools and our weekly events programme.
A stone’s throw from our AlpinSPA is our new AlpinLODGE**** with 12 luxuriously appointed apartments, which have been enthusiastically received by our wellness fans.
Our guests can avail themselves of three large and one smaller facility. All have the benefit of disabled access/facilities and facilities for your children have been catered for.
Additional facilities include a workshop, drying/storage rooms for tents, skis, ski-boots, and we cannot forget a shower facility for your faithful dog.
In summer the 500m² fresh water pool is very popular. For families the open air pool (120m² stainless steel liner), indoor pool and the kids pool are real winners. Afterwards you can visit the AlpinSPA, where you will find a wide choice of sauna and massage offerings.
If after all that exertion you don’t feel like cooking, then you can allow yourself to be spoilt in Schluga's Wirtshaus, dem the campsite restaurant, where you will find mouth-watering dishes.
The Gail Valley is surrounded by the Gail Valley and Carnic Alps.
This holiday area is part of the Nassfeld-Lake Pressegger region that surrounds Hermagor. In the winter time Nassfeld is a very popular destination for sport enthusiasts and those looking to get in touch with Nature. Summer is also just as popular, whether you are looking to go hiking, mountain biking or just to relax in the Lake Pressegger See - that gets up to 28? - the region is able to offer something for everyone!
The best way to get to us is via the motorway junction at Villach.
Attention! Guests towing a caravan should avoid the route via Paternion/Windische-Höhe at all costs, due to the very steep 18° gradient.
